Our Mission

The goal of Last Mile Medicine is to defeat one of the biggest problems in improving lives -- getting essential supplies and skills to where they are needed most. Since 2015, last mile medicine has worked to provide life-saving medical equipment and training to rural Cambodia.

The name of our organization relates to one of the greatest problems in logistics, the last mile problem. While it is often easy and cost effective to get equipment to a central warehouse due to the economics of scale, it becomes immensely more difficult getting it to the person who actually needs the equipment, as they only need one piece of the equipment. Last Mile Medicine provides that final step.
