Medication Supply Project
We need 1,250 USD for more medication (called Tranexamic Acid) to prevent pregnant women and patients (especially children) who have had moped accidents from bleeding to death. The hospital is running short on this essential medication! $3 is enough to buy one dose of this lifesaving medication for a child with bleeding.
Our goal over time is to expand our supply of this improtant medication to other hospitals throughout the province.
Operating Room Project
Our hospital is the only hospital within a 5 hour radius capable of significant operating room procedures. Because of this, there is a critical need for more equipment, both replacable equipment such as cautery pads, as well as a grant for laparoscopic equipment to allow for improved treatment of women with ruptured ectopic pregnancies.
Medical Education and Training Partnerships
We are always attempting to find partners to help us with capacity building at our medical center. If you have expertise, we would be happy to help arrange lectures or hands-on trainings for our staff.
